Philip has over 35 years’ experience in financial services specialising in the development and funding of early-stage companies. He was initially a senior institutional stockbroker, later a Director of a highly regarded Private Bank but notably seconded to be Chief Executive of the Government backed National Research Development Corporation. On returning to the private sector, he became a Senior Executive Vice President of Merrill Lynch, co-founder of Custom House Asset Management, and has since been Chairman of some five Publicly Listed public companies
He was the founder of SalvOcean associate company Britannia's Gold and is currently Chairman of Capital Plus Partners, an FCA regulated London Stock Exchange member firm.
Nick has 36 years of experience in the commercial maritime field, across a number of its sub-sectors, including container operations and offshore services, globally.
Nick spent 15 years with James Fisher and Sons as Chief Executive. Nick led the company through a period of extraordinary growth and transformation, increasing the market capitalisation of the group by almost tenfold
Nick currently serves as a Director of Survitec and is also Chairman of PG Tankers and AIM listed Falkland Island Holdings
As Chairman of SalvOcean’s US subsidiary, Tom has 50 years of experience as a recognized leader in the field of Deep Ocean Exploration and Operation.
Tom has a broad background working with virtually all types of instrumentation, tools, and platforms, both manned and unmanned, that are utilized in offshore operations. Tom has participated in or led many of the well-known accomplishments in the Ocean Field and as such Tom has been recognized in many films, books, and received many awards and recommendations for his achievements.
Sam has worked in and managed teams across commercial management and business development in various financial industries across banking, fund management and private equity in the UK, EMEA and Australia.
Sam has developed wide commercial understanding in management, sales, and operations. In addition, Sam has recently developed two companies in the Marine Industry and for the last three years has also acted as Commercial Director for Britannia’s Gold Ltd.

Mark is an international leader in deep ocean salvage with over 47 years of experience. Following a highly decorated career in the U.S. Navy Special Projects, Mark has commercial success across numerous successful and high-profile expeditions including RMS Titanic, RMS Lusitania, HMS Victory, SS Republic, and positive identification of numerous world war U-Boats and warships, and sensitive deep ocean recoveries for the U.S. Government. He has conducted numerous other expeditions in the Atlantic, Western Approaches, Caribbean and Mediterranean, operating in depths from 300FSW to 17,000FSW.
Seb has an engineering background in oceanography and subsea technology. He took his first steps in the late 90’s as subsea engineer and project manager at Comex Group, specializing on subsea robotics projects and underwater systems design (AUVs, ROVs & LARs) Seb has a vast knowledge in subsea operations such as surveys, installation and commissioning of subsea equipment, recoveries & sea trials of subsea vehicles. He has been involved for more than 15 years as offshore manager and salvage master on marine and subsea operations in parallel with his engineering duties.
Neil’s career commenced in the merchant navy before spending time in the North Sea oil & gas industry. After completing a Master’s Degree in marine archaeology, he joined the team at Odyssey Marine Exploration working with Mark. Neil has a vast knowledge of shipwrecks globally and has worked on projects such as the SS Republic, Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes (the Black Swan), RMS Lusitania, SS Gairsoppa and the SS Central America to name a few. Neil develops all survey reports and Underwater Cultural Heritage (UHC) assessments, he also feeds back all relevant data to Receivers of Wreck across all operational jurisdictions.
40 years working in the marine subsea industry, as an offshore vessel manager and as a shore-based business development consultant. His broad spectrum of expertise encompasses legislation, HSEQ and maritime contracting as well as subsea survey and salvage operations.
Will has been involved in some of the world’s largest and most challenging marine salvage projects such as the Piper Alpha disaster, the recovery of the Russian nuclear submarine ‘Kursk’ and numerous shipwreck cargo and aircraft recoveries.
